Spring is one of our favorite seasons along with Fall to get married in Los Cabos! The weather is always perfect not too warm and days get longer. Guess we won’t have any of them this year but nevertheless we have hope that there will be many other spring weddings in the future as Stefanie and Kent’s wedding we had the pleasure to host last year at Hotel El Ganzo.
Since we met with them, they both express the desire to have an intimate wedding with only their closest family and friends from New York and California. Well, let’s say that the boutique hotel was the perfect match for this fun wedding weekend.
We start off the weekend with a casual welcome dinner at El Marinero Borracho which literally translates as “The Drunken Sailor”. This hidden gem in La Playita San Jose del Cabo has THE best tacos in the area. People were able to order from a selection of tacos we have put together with Stefanie and Kent considering all the food restrictions their guests could have: gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, and dairy-free. They privatized the entire restaurant, which was not complicated as the place is really tiny, which made it really intimate and they got to choose the music they wanted etc..
The following day Stefanie got ready in the bridal suite with Cabo Makeup the specialist in town for Asian makeup. They always do a fabulous work enhancing the beauty of our brides. It was the perfect place for the bridal party to gather and have a last toast before heading down to the ceremony.
The couple chose to tie the knot at the beach club from the hotel, where the lown surrounded by the water made a perfect senary for their ceremony followed by a cocktail and dinner and party on the beach afterward.
Stefanie and Kent decided on having a buffet so their guests could have more options to try from the Mexican menu from El Ganzo and so they could interact more with each other. And of course, being in Mexico they had to get churros the hit of the night!
To make sure the party was a hit they brought their friend and Dj from New York Brina Payne and it was a success the dancefloor was packed the entire night and the tequila was flowing!
